Waterloo signs new sponsor

2nd February 2010

Waterloo Football Club is today pleased to announce a strategic partnership with JCJS Courier Services.  The sponsorship agreement sees JCJS become Waterloo's Official Club Sponsor from now until the end of the 2011/2012 season.  Waterloo will unveil their new strip bearing JCJS's logo next Saturday 6th February when they entertain Caldy at home.  This flagship deal marks the start of a long-term process as Waterloo work towards refinancing the club through a number of commercial initiatives and the club hopes to attract further sponsorship support during the course of this year.

Waterloo director Dave Raywood said, "This deal is tremendously good news for Waterloo and comes at just the right time for us.  It's a long term strategic partnership which we fully expect to bring great benefit to both parties.  JCJS has made very clear its desire to support the whole club, all the way from from U7's to the first team.  This is exactly what we need as we go through the current period of rebuilding from within.  For the first time in many years, most of the senior squad have come through the club's own ranks, resulting in a talented but very young group of players whose full potential will take time to mature.  JCJS's support will help enormously in that process and at the same time we will be getting our senior players much more involved with our hundreds of ambitous youngsters so that we won't have to wait so long for the next home-grown first team!"

John Armstrong, general manager of JCJS said, "Sponsoring Waterloo is an important part of our ongoing strategy to build awareness of JCJS, fuelling our ambitious growth plans as we seek to establish our reputation for providing superior customer service at competitive prices.  Both I and our managing director have children who play at Waterloo and we've been actively involved with the youth section for quite a few years.  JCJS is a young business which intends to develop rapidly and I see the same passion to succeed in so many people at Waterloo - from fans, minis, juniors and ladies to our first team.  Our business is all about delivering and we intend to deliver support to the whole Waterloo club, both in its ambitions on the field and at the same time in re-engaging with the local community."
